FAQ

What areas of South Florida do you serve? Can I get a sink installation in my area?

We currently serve all of Broward County, as far south as Hallandale Beach and Miramar and as far north as Parkland and Deerfield Beach. This covers towns both east and west of 95. Contact us and we can schedule a free design consultation for one of our sink specialists to come to your home.

What types of sinks can I get for my kitchen in Fort Lauderdale?

We have a wide array of sink sizes, styles, and materials available. The three main styles of sink are topmount (a drop-in sink), undermount, and apron-front (farmhouse). When our design consultant comes to your home in Broward County, they will take specific measurements of your existing sink, the space underneath, and the surrounding counterspace. Once they have that information, they can show you the options that will work in your space and show you samples of materials to choose from, including accessories such as faucets, garbage disposals, and more.

I have an old Florida home. What type of countertops are you able to cut?

We generally have a solution for all manner of countertops and can install a new sink for you without disturbing them. The countertops that we work with most that are common to South Florida are granite, quartz, marble, and Corian—though we’ve even seen concrete countertops!

Do I have to find my own local plumber?

Throughout Broward County, it is a requirement that the plumbing be reconnected by a licensed plumber, which we are not. However, in an effort to keep things as simple and stress-free for our clients, we do have a relationship with a trusted local plumber who works with us frequently. If you’d like to work with our plumber, we are happy to make those arrangements for you. You are also welcome to hire your own plumber and coordinate the schedule for him/her to arrive after we’ve completed our work.

I live in a condo building. Can you do installations in Ft. Lauderdale high rises?

South Florida, particularly Downtown Fort Lauderdale, has many high rise condo buildings that were built decades ago. So, yes—we do receive many inquiries from condo owners looking to replace their outdated sinks. We recommend that you contact us to book a free design consultation and, on our visit, our sink specialist can investigate your building’s requirements for contractors & plumbers, as they are all unique. There is generally an approval process with the building where we submit all of our licensing documentation, then we are free to proceed with the installation.

I have an outdoor kitchen. Will your sinks be able to endure the extreme Florida elements?

Yes! We love outdoor kitchens (lucky you!), and we definitely have all-weather sink options for you to choose from. We offer a variety of 16-gauge T304 stainless steel sinks, as well as quartz sinks, that can easily withstand the elements from rain, to humidity, to iguanas.

My South Florida home was built in the 70s and it looks like it already had one kitchen renovation over the years. It currently has an undermount sink that is pretty grimey and nasty around the rim and I can’t get it clean. What can be done to fix this?

We feel your pain! We see this a lot. Unfortunately, the old way that undermount sinks were installed left a sort of radius around the rim that is impossible to clean. We install all of our new sinks differently, whether they’re undermount, topmount, or apron-front. Our sinks are designed to last and resist that grime you’re dealing with now.

I live in a pretty small cottage style home in Pompano Beach. I’d love to remove my tiny, stainless sink with the divided bowls and replace it with a larger, single bowl sink. Is that even possible in a small kitchen?

We do have small, single bowl sinks available that may be a great fit for your kitchen. The best way to find out is to book a free design consultation and let our sink specialist measure in person to determine your options.
